Loved the online song requests and notes we could add. The music and lights were so good that the staff said "DJ Billy Zee was the best they have seen." The games played were perfect for teens -"Not lame" and all participated. DJ Billy Zee picked the perfect timing of when to add a game to entertain everyone.
By far, the best DJ in Maryland! Great variety of music, just the right amount of interaction and lighting effects were outstanding. Absolutely would use services again and recommend to others.

Everything was fabulous. Heard nothing but compliments. He had the ability to adjust to the events as they changed. There was a few events that did not go according to the timeline and DJ Billy was able to adjust. He was very professional and fun!! Our guests were on the dance floor all night.
We had a huge bridal party and songs picked out for each couple. DJ Billy made it all come together nicely. We heard so many good things about the bridal party entrance. We already have referred him for one wedding. We would highly recommend him for an event. The night went smoothly.

The event was a great success. Everybody enjoyed the party and nobody was bored. The kids danced and so did the adults.

DJ Billy Zee has the ability to improvise and select or change the music to fit the crowd and situation. We received several compliments about how quickly our guests song requests were made. In addition, the centerpiece give-away was fun and a good ice-breaker for guests. Transitions from cocktail to introductions to toasts to dinner etc were very smooth.

We would both highly recommend DJ Billy Zee. We have been to a lot of weddings and can honestly say that Billy was the best DJ we have seen. He listened to all our requests and preferences. He mixed Zimbabwean music with the Jewish music perfectly so that people were dancing the whole night. He made the night about us and our guests. Everyone has been commenting on how great he was since the wedding. We liked the lasers that looked like stars on the ceiling. I don't think there was need for improvement. The night was magical.

Don't think of hiring anyone else! He was a true professional with class. He communicated more then any other vendor I've worked with. He is very thorough and organized. He is a gentleman and I never worried he would do anything risque or embarassing.

The entire evening was outstanding! Billy Zee kept everyone on their toes the entire time. I've never seen a wedding where so many people continuously packed the dance floor. It was amazing. The party went strong for 5 hours.

Billy kept us all on schedule, which was extremely important because of how little time we had to do everything. He was professional, energetic and unintrusive. I received many compliments about the DJ. The timing and the emcee-ing were impeccable.
Billy Zee was a tremendous help to us at the ceremony as well. Djing our recorded songs and doing sound for our live musicians. It all sounded perfect - we couldn't have been more pleased.
Being in the wedding "biz" myself, I didn't want the usual wedding reception songs I hear every weekend at my wedding band job. I am pleased that he stuck to my playlist closely. I don't know what we would have done had we hired someone else for our special day. Billy Zee was the best DJ I have heard at a wedding.

From our introductions to our final dance, the evening was fabulous.The one memory we talked about the most was our final dance - Billy Zee encouraged guests to gather around the dance floor. We were so into each other, that we didn't notice at first, but when we looked up, everyone was gathered around. An amazing night is all I can say!
HIRE HIM!!! If anyone can make your event a success, it is Billy Zee. I never dreamed the dance floor would have been packed all night. The guests were spilling off the dance floor and so many people have told us what a wonderful time they had!

I?m a professional wedding photographer, and I?m president of the St. Ursula Fathers? Club ? so I?ve been able to see Billy Zee work from both perspectives: that of a fellow professional, but also as a client.
As a client, he's been the DJ/MC/ Party Shaker at the last two Father-Daughter dances held by my organization (maybe more, but my daughter is only in second grade) This is very different from a wedding situation, but he was able to engage and keep entertained a very diverse group of girls (from K thru 8th grade) while maintaining a friendly and light atmosphere. Plus, he brought with him some props and games and so forth for getting the girls involved with the party. He really is a lot of fun at these types of gatherings.
As a photographer who's done over 250 weddings in the last six years, I've seen a lot of DJs. Some much better then others, and some that are so pathetic that you wonder how they can keep working :)
Billy has always been top-notch, though, on the three or four occasions we've worked together. I can?t be sure how much he plans the activities of the day with his clients, but he has always been very well prepared and flexible. I wouldn't think you could go wrong by hiring him.
