Various sound challenges for my ceremony and reception were tackled, solved easily and effectively.  For those of you who are hands on. Billy has an enormous music catalog to choose from. Billy is helpful in planning and was very easy to get in touch with.  .......Favorite moment: Walking down the aisle as the song was echoing thru the air...A bridesmaid said shefelt like she was in a movie. The vibe of the entire night was perfect.

Billy Zee was a tremendous help to us at the ceremony as well. Djing our recorded songs and doing sound for our live musicians. It all sounded perfect - we couldn't have been more pleased.
Being in the wedding "biz" myself, I didn't want the usual wedding reception songs I hear every weekend at my wedding band job. I am pleased that he stuck to my playlist closely. I don't know what we would have done had we hired someone else for our special day. Billy Zee was the best DJ I have heard at a wedding.
From the moment I hired him, he offered me planning, song selection,and ideas that would go with my "movie theme." I would recommend Billy Zee to anyone who was looking for a DJ for their event. Top Notch!

From our introductions to our final dance, the evening was fabulous.The one memory we talked about the most was our final dance - Billy Zee encouraged guests to gather around the dance floor. I’m a professional wedding photographer, and I’m president of the St. Ursula Fathers’ Club – so I’ve been able to see Billy Zee work from both perspectives: that of a fellow professional, but also as a client.

As a client, he’s been the DJ/MC/ Party Shaker at the last two Father-Daughter dances held by my organization (maybe more, but my daughter is only in second grade…:) This is very different from a wedding situation, but he was able to engage and keep entertained a very diverse group of girls (from K thru 8th grade) while maintaining a friendly and light atmosphere. Plus, he brought with him some props and games and so forth for getting the girls involved with the party. He really is a lot of fun at these types of gatherings.
As a photographer who’s done over 250 weddings in the last six years, I’ve seen a lot of DJs. Some much better then others, and some that are so pathetic that you wonder how they can keep working :)
Billy has always been top-notch, though, on the three or four occasions we’ve worked together. I can’t be sure how much he plans the activities of the day with his clients, but he has always been very well prepared and flexible. I wouldn’t think you could go wrong by hiring him.
